Disc Mower Conditioners

INTRODUCTION

The DMC8000 Series left handed drawbar disc mower conditioners are equipped with features such as fully welded cutterbar, independent active suspension, your choice of SemiSwing or chevron roller conditioners, and FlipOver wide spreading to meet every request with exceptional performance. Working width 9'6" (2.8m) - 11'6" (3.5m).

Features

Three-bladed, Counter-rotating discs
With three blades per disc, Kubota mowers provide a 50% higher cutting frequency compared to conventional solutions. This means a third less load per blade, an even load on the drive, smoother power usage, and produces a neat, cleanly cut stubble.
Fully welded cutterbar
The Kubota cutterbar’s high cooling and lubrication efficiency oil pump system reduces wear and tear. The fully welded cutterbar with overlapping C-channels makes for a very strong design.
Shear Protection
Shear protection of gear wheels and the drive system designed to break in case or overload or major contact. Once sheared, the hub is easily replaceable for minimum downtime.
Independent Active Suspension
The complete mowing section, is suspended independently from the main chassis by either two or four long adjustable suspension springs, allowing field tracks and contours to be closely followed. If an obstacle is encountered in the field, the mowing section will lift up and backwards, protecting the cutterbar.
Wide spreading kit
All DMC8000 models can be fitted with an easy-to-use wide spreading kit. This enables crop to be cut and spread in one operation, saving both time and resources. Best of all, changing from swathing to wide spreading fast and easy.
Easy adjustment of stubble height
A simple crank adjusts the whole cutterbar assembly angle up or down to a desired stubble height. While standard with 40mm skid shoes, additional 20mm, 60mm or 80mm are available to further adjust cutting height.
Full-width Semi Swing Tine Conditioning
The Kubota SemiSwing tine conditioner with adjustable conditioning hood is highly adaptable to varying crop types. During operation tines will stay in a fixed position, providing full cutterbar width conditioning with minimum wear.
Full-width Rubber Roller Conditioning
Roller conditioning provides gentle, yet effective handling of fragile crop such as alfalfa or clover. The adjustable spring-controlled pressure exerted between the two rollers guarantees uniform conditioning and low risk of plugging.
Swivel Hitch On All Models (Drawbar or 2-Point)
Standard swivel gearbox allows for tight turns without stress on driveline or tractor PTO system. This feature allows for tighter headland turns and increases daily productivity. 2-point or Drawbar hitch available and gearbox is switchable from 540 to 1000RPM on all models. Tool box with ratchet also included.
Adjustable Swath Formation
Easy adjustable windrow width ranging from narrow to widespread. Capable rear deflector is fully adjustable to help stand the crop up or lay it down allowing for different windrow textures
Ease of Adjustments and Maintenance
Single-bolt or optional hydraulic stubble height adjustment, Swing-away front curtain and hood, Optional hydraulic roller separation kit, and accessible cable and hose routing.
BX Belt Merger Kit
The optional BX belt merger kit can be fitted on trailed DMC's to deposit one swath onto another creating fuller windrows. When not needed, it can be lifted up and out of the way for typical single swath formation.
