Disc Mower Conditioners

INTRODUCTION

Experience excellent maneuverability with the Kubota DMC8500 Series, equipped with a center pivot and swivel hitch headstock. This key advancement in mower design enables operators to mow in a continuous pattern without constantly opening new headlands. With a working width of 11'10" (3.6 m) to 15'5" (4.7 m) and a heavy-duty suspension system built for maximum flotation, this trailed mower conditioner covers more ground with ease. Available in both roller and tine conditioning configurations to match your field needs.

Features

Three-bladed discs
With three blades per disc, Kubota mowers provide a 50% higher cutting frequency compared to conventional solutions. This means a third less load per blade, an even load on the drive, smoother power usage, and produces a neat, cleanly cut stubble.
Fully welded cutterbar
The Kubota cutterbar’s high cooling and lubrication efficiency oil pump system reduces wear and tear. The fully welded cutterbar with overlapping C-channels makes for a very strong design requiring low maintenance with no risk of loose bolts.
Shear protection
Shear protection of gear wheels and the drive system designed to break in case or overload or major contact. Once sheared, the hub is easily replaceable for minimum downtime.
Counter-rotating discs
An even number of counter-rotating discs provides generous overlap between all discs and a better crop throughput.
Independent active suspension
The complete mowing section, is suspended independently from the main chassis by either two or four long adjustable suspension springs, allowing field tracks and contours to be closely followed. If an obstacle is encountered in the field, the mowing section will lift up and backwards, protecting the cutterbar from damage.
Easy adjustment of stubble height
A simple crank adjusts the whole cutterbar assembly angle up or down to a desired stubble height. While standard with 40 mm skid shoes, additional 20 mm, 60 mm or 80 mm are available to further adjust cutting height.
Full-width SemiSwing tine conditioning
The Kubota SemiSwing tine conditioner with adjustable conditioning hood is highly adaptable to varying crop types. During operation tines will stay in a fixed position, providing full cutterbar width conditioning with minimum wear.
Full-width rubber roller conditioning
Roller conditioning provides gentle, yet effective handling of fragile crop such as alfalfa or clover. The adjustable spring-controlled pressure exerted between the two rollers guarantees uniform conditioning and low risk of plugging.
Adjustable swath formation
Easy adjustable windrow width ranging from narrow to widespread. Rear deflector is fully adjustable to help stand the crop up or lay it down allowing for different windrow textures.
Ease of adjustments and maintenance
Single-bolt or optional hydraulic stubble height adjustment, swing-away front curtain and hood, optional hydraulic roller separation kit and, accessible cable and hose routing.
BX belt merger kit
The optional BX belt merger kit can be fitted on trailed DMC's to deposit one swath onto another creating fuller windrows. When not needed, it can be lifted up and out of the way for typical single swath formation.
Exceptional maneuverability
